Information we collect
We collect estimator answers, project location, flooring preferences, measurements, existing conditions and estimate results. If you request contractor contact, we also collect your name, email, telephone number, project address, timeline, notes, consent record and any photographs you choose to upload. Technical records may include IP address, user agent, referring page, campaign information, security events and timestamps.
How we use information
We use information to calculate and save estimates, respond to requests, identify eligible contractors, deliver requested communications, prevent fraud and duplicate submissions, operate and improve the service, comply with law and protect users. Estimates combine your answers with configurable material, labor, waste, option, location and uncertainty assumptions.
Contractor lead sharing
We do not share your project or contact information with a contractor until you affirmatively request contractor contact and provide consent. When you do, we may share the information needed to evaluate and respond to the project with eligible participating contractors. Contractors are independent businesses with their own privacy practices.
Email, telephone and text
Requested estimate or project communications are transactional. Marketing email requires a separate consent choice. Consent to contractor contact is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of text messages.
Cookies, local storage and analytics
Browser storage may retain unfinished estimator answers. Essential technologies support security and functionality. Aggregate analytics may measure estimator starts, completion, selected flooring, ZIP coverage and conversions. Personal contact information must not be placed in outside analytics tools.
Security and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure. Retention periods must be set by the owner based on operational and legal needs: [OWNER MUST PROVIDE RETENTION SCHEDULE].
Your choices and state rights

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
